The Product Owner will be responsible for managing the product lifecycle, working closely with the product development team. The Product Owner will build and maintain relationships with the regions to communicate the status of the product and upcoming changes.
The Product Owner will be responsible for multiple products across our range. The role entails project managing all current ongoing developments, as well as getting feedback from the business to move the product forward to remain competitive. The Product Owner will maintain a good understanding of competitor products, monitoring and reporting on market trends and innovations.
The role will also liaise with compliance and testing houses to push the product forward and list jurisdictional approvals / areas where the product can be sold.
• Own the product and make all final decisions.
• Support Sales with product orientation / customer presentations.
• Working with the Senior Programme Manager lead the planning and implementation of products / projects, supporting the definition project tasks and resource requirements.
• Facilitate, document and report the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables using the defined applications and processes.
• Develop full scale project plans for identified products / projects.
• Manage project budget.
• Flag to the Senior Programme Manager risks, issues and blockers for escalation.
• To carry out any other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time by senior management.
• Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management.
• Knowledge of project management techniques and tools.
• Logical thinking with creative problem-solving ability.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Good business acumen.
• Good IT skills – Including all standard Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, Hardware Product Manager, PowerPoint).
• Preferably experience with Jira and Confluence (from Atlassian suite of products).
• Knowledge of the gaming industry is desirable.
• To establish and maintain excellent standards of customer service and focus throughout dedicated customer portfolio.
