How can I identify if a wheel is not at peak perfomance?

Saturn Data Logger captures winning results and ball drop behaviour, that can be downloaded any time and analyzed to highlight non-random results and Drop Zone bias. Once downloaded operators can access a wide range of statistical reports and the open-source format also allows you to interface with third-party software applications.

Why is it important to rotate and level Roulette Wheel?

An un-level Roulette Wheel has the potential to generate a drop zone caused by poor wheel calibration and lack of preventative maintenance. By actively rotating wheels, casinos can reduce the risk of operating with predictable drop zones. Wheels should be rotated on a regular basis to reduce wear points and extend the life of the wheel.

What is Drop Zone?

One of the difficulties faced by casino operators is getting accurate data from the gaming equipment when revenues suddenly change or security is breached. Every Saturn™ Roulette Wheel has Drop Zone Detection built in at no extra cost. Drop Zone Detection (DZD) is a patented key performance indicator for Saturn™ Roulette wheels that can be used to track any changes or abnormal events by monitoring the frequency of the ball leaving a particular area (zone) of the ball track. A greater percentage of frequency is a strong indication that the wheel is either dirty, imbalanced or has been tampered with. This enables casinos to quickly detect problems arising from any biased roulette wheels. The importance of having DZD is that this will not show up in a Wheel Analysis report as all numbers will still be random. A Drop Zone enables an advantage player to see when the ball is leaving the rim of the wheel and to then calculate what section of the cylinder it’s going to land in. If you’re not tracking Drop Zone your report will say the wheel is random - but you are losing money.

Does Wheelmate work with any Roulette Wheel?

Wheelmate is only compatible with the latest update of TCSJOHNHUXLEY's SaturnTM Roulette Wheels.

Why do I need a Wheelmate?

Wheelmate enables casinos to easily monitor and maintain their wheels in-house without using bulky equipment. For day-to-day maintenance, an engineer can carry around a wheel console as part of their maintenance toolkit that will work on any of the latest SaturnTM wheels in the casino. The console plugs into a wheel to record and store data alleviating the need to download to a laptop and delivers powerful new features that record all maintenance events to get a full picture of how the wheel is operating, whilst also providing easy to access levelling information.

Do I need a laptop to complete maintenance checks on the wheel?

By recording all maintenance activities in one place, the casino can easily monitor and audit their servicing records, alleviating the need to download to a laptop (as was previously required). For additional reporting and analysis, the wheel data can be exported to a laptop/PC via USB without any additional hardware required.
