Niu-Niu Xtreme

Niu-Niu is a fun and exciting comparing card game that is played between the player and the dealer. TCSJOHNHUXLEY’s Niu-Niu game is based on the iconic Asian card game but has a modern take where the game can be played on either a Baccarat, Blackjack or Stud Poker style table to enhance a casino’s live table game offering.

The game is played with a standard deck of 52 cards with the goal being to achieve a higher hand than the dealer by dividing a five-card hand into a left hand with three cards and a right hand with two cards. The value of the left hand must add up to multiples of 10 e.g. 10, 20, 30 etc. The value of the right hand should be as high as possible. Face cards (Jacks, Queens, and Kings) are worth 10 points. Aces are worth 1 point and all other cards are worth their face value.

The two-card hand is valued based on the rightmost digit of the sum of the card, e.g. a hand consisting of 3 and 4 is worth 7, but a hand consisting of 7 and 8 is worth 5. If three cards form a multiple of 10 and the remaining two cards also form a multiple of 10, this is called a “Niu Niu”.

The player wins by obtaining a higher Niu hand than the Dealer or loses otherwise.
