The Nedbank Golf Challenge is an annual event hosted by Sun International at their world-renowned Sun City Resort & Entertainment Destination in South Africa.

This year’s event was held on 9 – 12^th November and TCSJOHNHUXLEY was delighted to transform the casino’s Gaming Tables to celebrate the golfing event.  This included a range of Dynamic Display System (DDS) golf-themed graphics for Roulette along with custom Golf Ball Turrets.

The Dynamic Display System (DDS) is an advanced graphic display application for Winning Number Displays and Blaze Gaming Tables that provides the option for graphics to be configured in numerous combinations. This allows winning numbers, stats, advertising content and video to be displayed exactly how the operator requires.

DDS provides casino’s the option to have a complete themed package for Gaming Tables that is ideal for key events such as the golfing tournament. The set theme can be owned by a casino for either events or a casino's brand. This provides theme continuity across the gaming floor and attracts players to the tables.

Using the DDS Configuration Tool, packages are easy to configure, upload, or download, and provide access to additional default layouts. Winning Number Display graphics, Turrets, animations (on both DDS Blaze tables and Displays) as well as Gaming Table Layouts can be themed to a set style to provide game continuity.

The Nedbank Golf Challenge is one of South Africa's premier sporting events, attracting thousands of spectators who gather to watch the world's top golfers in action with 66 players, playing over 4 days, for a purse of $6 million. The golf tournament is played annually in November or December at Sun City on the world-renowned Gary Player Country Club course. It is one of the longest courses in the world at 7000m – with the dramatic backdrop of the Pilanesberg Mountains.

The tournament hosted by Gary Player forms part of the DP World Tour and is the penultimate event on the Race to Dubai.
